MetaMetrics Partners With Peachtree Publishers to Provide Lexile Measures for Books
New Children’s Books and Young Adult Titles Receive Popular Text Complexity Metric
DURHAM, NC — (Jul 30, 2014) — MetaMetrics®, developer of the widely adopted Lexile® Framework for Reading, is pleased to announce its partnership with Peachtree Publishers. Peachtree Publishers develops Common Core titles, e-books and teacher’s guides to promote early literacy skills. Peachtree Publishers will provide Lexile measures for their children’s books, including many picture books, as well as fiction and non-fiction young adult titles.

All of Peachtree’s frontlist titles beginning with Fall 2014 will be assigned a Lexile measure. In addition to these titles, bestsellers such as We’ve Got a Job (1020L), 14 Cows for America (AD540L) and The Cheshire Cheese Cat (740L) have been measured. The Lexile measures of the titles are available on the Peachtree Publishers website and catalog.
